TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Always bring your provisional driving licence with you to every lesson.
2. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel late or don’t show up for your lesson, you will still be charged.
3. Lessons must be paid for in advance (one lesson in advance) either by cash or bank transfer.
4. If you are unwell or on medication, speak to your instructor to discuss whether to do the lesson.
5. If you are drunk or under the influence of drugs, you will not be allowed to drive or book any further lessons, and you will be charged for the lesson booked.
6. If you frequently cancel lessons, your instructor may decide not to continue giving you lessons.
7. There may be times when your instructor needs to cancel/move your lesson due to illness, mechanical breakdown or stuck in traffic.
8. The driving instructor reserves the right to stop teaching you if there are communication difficulties, or if the pupil argues with or threatens the instructor.
9. There is no smoking, vaping, eating or drinking (except water) in the tuition car.
10. Please advise the instructor if you have any driving endorsements before any lessons.
11. If you get caught speeding, flashed by speed cameras or pulled over by a police officer, it is your responsibility as the
driver, you are in control of your actions and you will get points and fines on your licence even as a learner.
12. If you damage the instructor’s car, tyres or wheels, you will be charged for the repair. If a nail or screw enters the tyre it might not be your fault.
13. If you damage the tuition car deliberately, legal action will be taken.
14. Each pupil learns at different stages/levels. You can read the statistics on how many hours it might take to understand how many hours you might need.
15. Your driving instructor will let you know how you are progressing and advise you when you will be ready to take your test. This will be when you are driving with very little help from your instructor.
16. When you book your driving test, please be aware it is a provisional booking, as you might need to cancel as your test gets nearer and you don’t feel ready.
17. Do not book your driving test until you have discussed it with your instructor and been advised to.
18. You will pay for your driving test separately to the DSA. The day of the driving test, you will pay the driving instructor for the lesson charged.
